Evacuations ordered as 200-acre fire ravages Los Angeles

Evacutions were ordered after a brush fire had broken out in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department ordered residents in zones 4 and 6 in Topanga to evacuate their homes due to a growing fire, which originated at 1807 N Michael Lane in the Pacific Palisades region. Fixed-wing aircraft are approved for use as needed, and no injuries have been reported, the department added.
