Longtime Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) is being evaluated at a local hospital in Washington, D.C., after falling ill Tuesday night, according to the congressman’s office.
The news comes after reports that Wilson collapsed at an event the day after House lawmakers returned to Capitol Hill after a monthlong recess.
