Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) slammed Democratic lawmakers for fighting the Department of Government Efficiency‘s accomplishment of “the very issue that most Americans really care about.”
Greene is the chairwoman of the DOGE subcommittee, which had its first hearing Wednesday. Throughout the hearing, ranking member Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) and Reps. Robert Garcia (D-CA) and Greg Casar (D-TX) criticized DOGE head Elon Musk. Greene appeared on Fox News’s Hannity hours after the hearing to defend him.
