Kevin Hern says Democratic lawmakers are ‘going crazy’ that Musk is finding waste

Rep. Kevin Hern (R-OK) said his Democratic colleagues in the House want to eliminate waste but don’t want Elon Musk to get the credit.

Nearly a month has passed since Musk began his volunteer position with the Department of Government Efficiency to create “a lean team of small-government crusaders” who work closely with the White House Office of Management and Budget. Musk’s role is considered a special government position under the authority of President Donald Trump, but he is often credited with the findings by DOGE. Hern, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, appeared on Fox Business’s Mornings with Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday.
