Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) announced on Wednesday that Cornell University President Michael I. Kotlikoff has agreed to allow an independent investigation into the school’s handling of a female student’s allegations that she was drugged and gang-raped by seven fraternity members in 2024.
