A conservative nonprofit group is targeting “woke leftist politicians” and their policies in a national ad.
Citizens For Sanity’s ad, called “Stop the Slaughter,” was released Saturday on social media.
The ad includes a montage of recent headlines and statistics on crime in major cities across the United States.
The ad blames “woke progressive prosecutors” for releasing “dangerous predators before trial.” It also singles out Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), accusing these politicians of allowing “streets and parks to be overrun with crime and drugs” while police have been made into the “enemy” and “criminals into a protected class.”
“It’s about woke leftist politicians transforming our cities into a hell of violence and death,” Citizens For Sanity captioned the video post.
Citizens For Sanity says its goal is to bring back common sense to the United States, along with “defeating ‘wokeism’ and anti-critical thinking ideologies that have permeated every sector of our country and threaten the very freedoms that are foundational to the American Dream.”

The ad’s release comes as new data compiled by the Immigration Reform Law Institute shows Democratic-run New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and San Francisco are among the top 10 most dangerous “sanctuary communities.”
