Sen. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) rushed to his daughter’s defense on Sunday after her ex-husband, Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), claimed she struggled with “significant mental health challenges” in an attempt to discredit the domestic abuse allegations she brought against him.

In a lengthy statement posted on X, Moreno said his former son-in-law needs “serious psychological help” and that he poses a “danger” to his daughter, Emily Moreno. The senator added, “I hold my breath every minute he has custody of my granddaughter.”
