Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) came out strongly against Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) after further revelations emerged around his alleged abuse of his ex-wife, Emily Moreno.
Scott was asked about an alleged “double standard” by which Democrats and Republicans in Congress handle allegations of abuse or misconduct, to which the senator said no such double standard should exist. He then said congressmen “shouldn’t be in office” when asked about those with abuse allegations against them, including Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) and Miller.
