Texas governor Rick Perry, a former Republican presidential candidate, has endorsed former Vets for Freedom director Pete Hegseth for Senate in Minnesota.

“He’s exactly the kind of patriot we need,” Perry says in a video message posted on Hegseth’s website. “He’s not afraid of a fight. Regardless of what’s popular or expedient, Pete Hegseth fights for what’s right and does so with conviction.”
