President Trump has cut Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s 12-point lead in half in Rasmussen Reports’s weekly White House Watch, inching back with less than three weeks to go before Election Day.
In the new survey, Biden has the edge over Trump, 50% to 45%.

Rasmussen said that Trump is leading among Republicans and voters under the age of 40. Its poll is made up of 2,500 likely voters.

The poll is one out of a handful of polls that show the race is tightening as both candidates step up their campaigning.
Just yesterday, Secrets reported that a Zogby poll had Biden over Trump, 45.5% to 43.4%, among likely voters.
Since the last Rasmussen poll, Trump has recovered from COVID-19 and returned to campaigning in person, and his Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, began her confirmation hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee and will likely be confirmed.
