Tampa, Fla. – For all the mudslinging and politicking on the presidential stage between the neck-and-neck Obama and Romney campaigns, one thing is for sure: Somebody will have to step on the Capitol steps January 21, 2013 to give his Inaugural Address.

With that in mind, the Architect of the Capitol Thursday announced that construction on the Inauguration stage just below the Capitol Dome will begin Monday, September 10. But changes are already coming to the lower terrace. Fencing is being erected around the area that faces the Washington Monument
