Yup, Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy went there.
Just days after campaign challenger Nikki Haley told Ramaswamy, “You’re just scum” for dragging her daughter into a GOP debate discussion about TikTok, the businessman did what he does best.

He’s trying to turn the label into a positive for his campaign.
On Friday, he unveiled a line of “Rebel Scum” merchandise on his site, declaring, “The establishment in both parties is corrupt to the core and is alive more than ever. It’s time to fight: now is the moment for freedom-loving American patriots everywhere to stand up and take back the country we love from a corrupt group of politicians who are marching us toward World War III. This is our 1776 Revolution.”

His line of T-shirts and koozies show Ramaswamy dressed like a space warrior, his logo in the background. T-shirts sell for $30; the koozies are $15 for a set of 2.
The effort is similar to President Joe Biden’s effort to turn the negative “Let’s Go Brandon” campaign into a positive with his campaign’s sale of “Dark Brandon” merchandise.
During this week’s debate and with discussion turned to the Chinese-owned TikTok social media platform, Ramaswamy noted that Haley’s daughter uses the site.

“She made fun of me for actually joining TikTok while her own daughter was actually using the app for a long time,” he said at the debate.
“Leave my daughter out of your voice,” Haley came back. As he continued to talk, she rolled her eyes and said, “You’re just scum.”
