The first authoritative book about the Russia election collusion “hoax” against President Trump since special counsel Robert Muller’s final report was filed charges that the case is a conspiracy to doom the president’s reelection, and one that should be investigated.

In Ball of Collusion, National Review writer Andrew C. McCarthy said the nearly three-year scandal was hatched by former President Barack Obama and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton to punish Trump should he win.

The book, which details in readable fashion every twist and turn in the case, said the duo had two plans: Plan A was to get Clinton elected. And Plan B, “the insurance policy,” to ruin Trump with impeachment hearings and kill his reelection chances.
“This book contends that the Obama administration, abetted by Washington’s politically progressive order, exploited its control of law-enforcement and intelligence agencies to help Clinton and undermine Trump,” he wrote.
In addition to charting the case and Mueller probe, McCarthy noted that voters didn’t care a lick about Russia during an election focused on the U.S. economy, And, he added, despite Obama’s best efforts to help his hoped-for successor, Clinton was a terrible candidate who blew the election on her own.
