Jill Biden ‘of course’ backs Hunter Biden sweeping pardon

First lady Jill Biden told reporters Monday that “of course” she backs President Joe Biden‘s decision to pardon their son late Sunday night.

The president’s decision to issue a sweeping pardon for any possible crimes covering nearly 11 years for Hunter Biden not only flew in the face of his monthslong promise not to do so but also came just before he left for Angola, where he’ll likely be able to avoid answering questions on the topic until his return to Washington, D.C., on Thursday night.
