Vice President Kamala Harris is delivering a eulogy for former President Jimmy Carter during a lying-in-state ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.

Harris is scheduled to begin speaking in honor of the country’s 39th president around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) are also expected to deliver eulogies at the ceremony.
