The uneaten steak and lobster from Saturday’s canceled White House Correspondents’ dinner will be used to help feed women and children at local Washington, D.C., shelters.

On Saturday, an attempted attack on President Donald Trump and other administration officials at the black-tie gala halted the program before the entrees — prime Chateaubriand and Maine lobster served alongside whipped potato gratin, tri-roasted cauliflower, and sherry-braised pickled shallots — even hit the tables.
