Bystander injured in officer-involved shooting near White House

The White House was put under lockdown after a person was shot by law enforcement and a bystander was injured near the building on Monday.

Secret Service Deputy Director Matt Quinn said the man was armed and was shot after firing at police, but he added that he had no information on the suspect’s condition. Quinn said a minor was shot but was not seriously injured.
