President Donald Trump said Sunday the renovation of East Potomac Golf Links in Washington, D.C., will begin on Sept. 1 after months of consternation over the local project.
In a lengthy Truth Social post detailing a Sunday morning “tour of various Statues, Monuments, Foundations and, most importantly, an old and rundown Golf Course” Trump provided updates on the Lincoln Memorial’s Reflecting Pool, Lafayette Park, and the “dilapidated, worn out, and very dangerous and outdated Golf Course known as East Potomac Golf Links.”
