Mamdani ‘testing the limits of his influence’ with foreign policy forays

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani isn’t satisfied leading his city and the Democratic Party: he’s trying to influence U.S. foreign policy as well.

Mamdani reiterated last weekend that he is considering arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when Netanyahu is in New York City this September for the United Nations’s General Assembly, two years after the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for his arrest over allegations of war crimes in Gaza.
