Iran threatens UK bases after London allows US use for strikes

Iran threatened to strike U.K. bases after London cleared the United States to use them for some strikes.

On Friday, the United Kingdom shifted its position on the use of its bases by the U.S. for strikes against Iran, allowing its usage for the targeting of Iranian military assets targeting the Strait of Hormuz. After the news broke, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi portrayed the move as unpopular and vowed retaliation.
