The tragic assassination of conservative Republican activist Charlie Kirk was a grotesque display of left-wing intolerance. To many on the Right, this is nothing new. The Left has regularly touted the importance of diversity and inclusion in speech, but has done the exact opposite in practice. However, Kirk’s murder was also a revelation of a more terrifying phenomenon plaguing the country: left-wing political violence. It might have also been a turning point in the general population’s acknowledgment and recognition of the Left’s bloodthirsty dogma. 

Yet, even a recent study confirming that the Left’s increase in violence raises red flags when reading its finer details. The study, “Left-Wing Terrorism and Political Violence in the United States: What the Data Tells Us,” by the Center for Strategic and International Studies, includes a “What is Excluded” section, which lists the numerous acts of left-wing violence it omitted in its calculations. Among the skipped incidents are murders, assaults, vandalism, and arson attacks.
