Don’t mistake the Iran pause for victory. It’s a test Trump can’t afford to fail

Another pause has arrived in the conflict between the United States and Iran.

American military strikes have stopped for now. Iran has also refrained from further retaliatory attacks. Diplomacy has been given additional room, and mediators are again trying to turn a temporary halt in violence into something more durable.
