So-called “Democratic socialism” is no longer just an argument over taxes, healthcare, or the size of government. In the form now advanced by the Democratic Socialists of America, it reaches into nearly every institution that underpins American national power: the Constitution, private property, law enforcement, border control, energy production, technological leadership, military deterrence, and the financial strength of the United States.
That is why the DSA agenda deserves to be treated as a national security issue.
