Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is steering our northern neighbor away from the United States. He is placing Canada directly under the regulatory control of Brussels.

Following a collapse in trade negotiations with Washington, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen officially offered Canada an unprecedented “associate member” status within the European Union under a new “Alliance for the Future.” Carney eagerly accepted the gesture with a standing ovation.
