The night Cruz lost the New York primary on April 19, he had already moved on to Philadelphia for what he called a Pennsylvania kickoff event. A week later, April 26, the night Cruz lost primaries in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, he had moved on to a rally in the “Hoosier Gym” in Knightstown, Ind.
