The week started with the last season of “Game of Thrones” and is drawing to a close with another cringey knock-off Trump tweet.
Attorney General William Barr wasn’t even finished giving his press conference on the Mueller report when President Trump tweeted an image reading, “No collusion. No obstruction. For the haters and the radical left Democrats — game over.”

This is the second time Trump has used the “Game of Thrones” look to exalt himself. Now, it’s because Barr said that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report shows neither collusion with the Russian government nor obstruction of justice on the part of the president.
Last November, it was because Trump was preparing to impose sanctions on Iran.

HBO, which airs “Game of Thrones,” wasn’t happy then, and it probably hasn’t changed its mind. (Dothraki is a fictional language from the show.)
How do you say trademark misuse in Dothraki?

The television network never filed a complaint, though. Five months later, Trump has been cleared of Russian collusion and obstruction of justice. HBO might still decide to do something about his use of its marketing theme, but at least his other legal troubles appear to be finished.
Jon Cooper, the chairman of the the Democratic Coalition against Trump, may not be hit with a trademark complaint, but he might want to take this tweet down.
