It is just an average week in the United States, which means that Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is finding more ways to make California worse.

On Monday, Newsom took two different actions on legislation sent to his desk. The first was to sign into law a ban on schools being able to inform parents that their children are identifying as transgender at school. In other words, Newsom affirmed California Democrats want schools to keep secrets about children’s mental health from their parents because, in Newsom’s opinion, it is the job of school administrators to act in place of parents in accordance with the tenets of transgender activism.
