You might expect a movement labeling itself as “progressive” to avoid using 19th-century, Confederate-style, and pro-slavery arguments to defend its positions. However, you would be underestimating the level of atrophy progressive minds have experienced in recent years due to the mere existence of President-elect Donald Trump.
