In November 2024, people demanded change by electing President-elect Donald Trump to a second term in the White House. After four years of devastating inflation, a wide-open southern border, and failure after failure on the world stage, voters made clear that they have had enough. Trump’s promises to secure the border, lower prices for everyday goods and services, and reinstate the United States’s standing as the leader of the free world led to a historic governing mandate.

It is incumbent upon Republicans in Congress to recognize this mandate. We can start by writing one bill to help Trump advance his “America First” agenda and deliver on his promises to the people.
