Belichick, 73, has embarked on a fifth-act career pivot, leaving the NFL to coach college football at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. On top of his estimated existing net worth of $70 million, multiple mansions, and a seven-figure book deal, Belichick will bring in a cool $10 million from UNC, the eighth-highest college football salary for the 2025 season.
It was more than a bit uncomfortable to watch the infamously ruthless, redoubtable, and indomitable Belichick allow himself to be publicly henpecked and humiliated by his 24-year-old girlfriend on national television.
