Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is again trying to shift blame for the disasters and crises his policies have created. This time, he’s using the Super Bowl 59 champion Philadelphia Eagles.
It started when Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth posted a picture on X of a car burning during the LA anti-ICE riots, accompanied by the words, “Another ‘mostly peaceful protest’ brought to you by Gavin Newsom.” California’s governor responded, equating the politically organized and funded criminal behavior in Los Angeles with Philadelphia Eagles fans’ celebrations after winning the Super Bowl.
