Captain Planet has been invited as one of the costumed guests to this year’s White House Easter Egg roll, according to a guest list for the event.

The show Captain Planet was created in the early 1990’s by liberal media mogul Ted Turner and environmental activist Barbara Pyle to encourage kids to care about the earth.

Captain Planet teamed up with the “Planeteers” after Gaia, the spirit of the Earth, bestowed on them the power of the elements to defend her from harm.

No word as to whether Captain Planet’s nemesis Hoggish Greedly has been invited. Greedly, an obese villain who ate endangered species and drilled for natural resources reportedly discovered Captain Planet’s weakness to toxic waste.

According to the list, Captain Planet will be joined by other costumed superheros such as Spiderman, Iron Man, and Thor but it appears that Batman and Superman were either not invited or chose not to make an appearance this year.
