Cain: ‘I’m going after Romney’ in tonight’s debate

I’m going after Romney.” Herman Cain said this morning on a radio interview, according to Politico’s Juana Summers.

“I’m not going after Perry. I don’t need to go after Perry,” Cain added.

If true, this makes tonight’s debate a lot more interesting. Previously, Romney easily deflected attacks from Perry, while other GOP candidates joyously took shots at Perry the “pinata” when he enjoyed temporary front-runner status.

We’ve already heard reports of Perry working with debate coaches and “getting more sleep.”

Herman Cain is approaching tonight like a prize fighter who has chosen his next victim.
