During her much-buzzed about appearance on the Today Show, Sarah Palin was asked by NBC’s Matt Lauer if she was “happy” with Romney.

Palin grimaced, and replied, “Anything is still possible, there can still be a bit of a shakeup, but the numbers are what the numbers are and yeah, he does seem to be, yeah he does appear to be the frontrunner, I’ve been of the mindset, you know, anybody but Obama will be so much better for our country.”
Bill Burton, the former White House deputy press secretary for Obama, quickly jumped on Palin’s lack of enthusiasm, “The Palin dodge on whether she’s happy Romney is the nominee really underscores conservative discomfort,” he tweeted instantly.
Burton is now the Senior Strategist for Obama’s Super PAC, Priorities USA.
