Couched in cozy rhetoric, Mike Huckabee tut-tutted over Michele Bachmann’s decision to hit Perry in Monday’s debate and suggested that she “went a little too far,” for telling the story of the woman who’s daughter contracted mental retardation after receiving the HPV vaccine.

“The latest polls show his lead has slipped a bit against Romney. But one word of caution for his rivals: Perry is also starting to slip in polls that pit him against Obama. I don’t think that reelecting Obama is their goal.” Huckabee wrote in an email to supporters.
In spite of his distaste for Perry, Huckabee might have to start supporting the Texas governor as he gains popularity with evangelicals.
