On a South Florida radio station today, Vice President Joe Biden admitted that the 2012 election would be a “referendum” on their performance on the economy.

“Even though 50 some percent of the American people think the economy tanked because of the last administration for the economy, that’s not relevant, we’re in charge.” Biden said.

Biden encouraged voters, “not to compare him to the Almighty, compare him to the other guy,” admitting that the upcoming election would offer voters a choice.

“Right now, understandably, totally legitimate, this is a referendum on Obama and Biden, and the nature of the state of the economy. It’s soon going to be a choice.”
