During the question-and-answer session, a woman passionately begged Chris Christie to run for president after his speech last night at the Reagan library. It was a touching moment, and the audience erupted in applause.
“It’s extraordinarily flattering,” said Christie, “But by the same token, that heartfelt message you gave me is also not a reason to do it, that reason has to exist inside of me.”
