Monmouth University in New Jersey has a new poll out pairing Hillary Clinton against four Republicans – Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz.

Clinton leads each of them, but with less than 50 percent of the vote in each case. She leads Christie by only 43-39 percent, winning 81 percent of Democrats but only 33 percent of Independents and 11 percent of Republicans. It should be added that none of the Republicans has universal recognition, as Clinton does.
