Democratic downturn in Colorado

Democratic survey firm Public Policy Polling has new numbers from Colorado out today, and they show a surprising lack of support for both President Obama and the state’s new Senator, Mark Udall.

Obama and Udall both won with 53 percent of the vote last fall, so the downturn is surprising — especially for Udall.

One theory is that Colorado has strong libertarian leanings and that the rolling bailouts and other government expansions has rubbed folks the wrong way.
