Charlie Crist is melting

He’s promised not to leave the GOP primary for Senate, but Gov. Charlie Crist is fading so badly in that race that he’ll need a miracle comeback to win.

Crist, who raised only $1.1 million last quarter against Republican rival Marco Rubio’s $3.6 million, now polls at just 28 percent among likely Republican voters, a Rasmussen poll shows. Not only do 57 percent of respondents prefer the conservative Rubio, but more of them consider Rubio to be the electable candidate in the November election.
