Parents would bust teachers’ unions, poll says

A majority of parents believe K-12 teachers’ unions are detrimental to their school systems, according to a newly released Rasmussen Report.

Fifty-four percent of adults with children enrolled in K-12 education approve of busting teachers’ unions, even though 45 percent say teachers are underpaid. The Rasmussen telephone survey interviewed 1,000 adults.
