Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, the moderate establishment candidate, failed to get 50 percent of the vote in yesterday’s U.S. Senate Republican primary yesterday. He will face Houston lawyer and Tea Party favorite Ted Cruz in a runoff election set for July 31st.
