Marc Morano is the former press secretary for Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-OK, the ranking Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Morano left Inhofe’s staff last year to head up Climate Depot, one of the Internet’s most useful repositories of news, analysis, and research resources for those skeptical of global warming claims.
Al Gore is the former vice-president of the United States who won the Nobel Prize for his handbook on global warming alarmism, “An Inconvenient Truth,” and one of Morano’s favorite targets.
But Morano today is defending Gore’s use during a speech before the Copenhagen Climate Conference of a quote from a Danish scientist claiming the Artic icecap could be entirely melted within five years. The scientist subsequently claimed Gore was misquoting him, and Gore’s office even issued an apology.
But it turns out that Gore was absolutely correct, according to Morano. Go here for the details. Should we expect an entry on this turn of events to appear soon in Ripley’s Believe it or Not?
