President Biden once again threatened the country with more prolonged lockdowns if the public doesn’t do what he says. But there is no going back to the lockdowns we’ve seen for the last year, no matter what Biden wants.

Biden threatened the public with more lockdowns on Thursday, saying, “If we don’t stay vigilant and the conditions change, then we may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track. Please, we don’t want to do that again.” It’s a long way from his campaign promise that he would “shut down the virus, not the country.”
