Party switchers for Romney & Paul

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA — At Kirn Junior High School today, I met a handful of voters who had caucused with Democrats four years ago, and caucused as Republicans today.

Brenda and Bob Krivanek were Biden supporters in 2008, who then refused to back any other candidates when Biden didn’t reach the 15% threshhold in their precinct (although their daughter, Elle, tipped the entire precinct to Edwards by one vote). Tonight they showed up a bit undecided an then voted for Romney. Bob told me this with his shoulders slumped. He admitted they settled.
