This wasn’t the type of press Vice President Biden wanted following an anti-domestic violence event in Montgomery County, Md.
Biden’s office has apologized after a staffer forced a University of Maryland student reporter to delete photos taken while Biden spoke Wednesday in Rockville.

Jeremy Barr, of the school’s Capital News Service, was told he had to delete the photos because he was not sitting in the section reserved for the press. In response, Lucy Dalglish, the school’s journalism dean, sent a letter to the vice president’s press office demanding an apology.
A Biden spokeswoman on Thursday called the incident an “unfortunate mistake by a staffer who does not regularly interact with the press.”
