Portland has refused to enforce the law for five years

Portland leaders are so concerned with “resisting” President Donald Trump that they would rather allow criminals to openly defy the law than make Portland a functioning city.

Democrats in Oregon are crying foul over the National Guard being deployed to Portland, where antifa is again leading violent “protests.” The Democratic mayor of Portland is dismissing videos of the violence as being from 2020, urging Trump to send teachers or “outreach workers” instead of federal law enforcement. There have been multiple arrests for vandalism against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in the area.
