Mitt Romney described Vice President Joe Biden as “the gift that keeps on giving,” apparently with reference to Biden’s penchant for surprising, sometimes comical candor.

“He’s the gift that keeps on giving, you know that?” Romney said of Biden after recalling that the vice president had called for a global minimum tax during an RNC event in Arizona. “I don’t know how he intends, exactly, to apply that.”
Biden recently garnered attention for his praise for Obama’s decision to send Navy SEAL Team Six after Osama bin Laden. “You can go back 500 years,” he told donors. “You cannot find a more audacious plan.”
