Ron Paul: Court will rule Obamacare constitutional

Published

Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, believes that the Supreme Court will rule Obamacare constitutional, a decision that he believes will be a “disaster” and a “tragedy” for the country.

“I suspect they’re going to rule it constitutional, but that’s, I mean, that’s a pure guess out of the thin air,” he said today on Bloomberg TV. “Although this Supreme court is slightly better than in the past, they haven’t done a real good job in defending the free market and the original intent of the interstate commerce clause — which was to deregulate, not use it as an excuse to do anything or force you to buy something. This would be a real tragedy if they rule and support this law.”
