Rick Santorum fired up social conservatives at the Values Voters Summit in Washington D.C. this morning by passionately defending traditional marriage between one man and one woman.
“An abomination!” Santorum said, reminding the crowd of President Obama’s decision not to defend the Defense of Marriage act in court.

Santorum also criticized Obama for instructing military chaplains to marry gay and lesbian couples.
“Not only did the president did not defend the law, he has instructed people in the military to break the law.” Santorum said incredulously.
Santorum said that liberals are pushing gay marriage state by state until the courts agree to change the laws across the county.
“We must fight in every state to makes sure that marriage remains between one man and one woman and as president I will do that.” he said to heavy applause.
